Co To Mountain

Co To mountain is located 25 km southwest of Chau Doc. Another name it has because of its shape is Phung Hoang Son, which means Mountain of a Phoenix, as seen from a distance it looks like a phoenix.

This mountain is about 5,800 metres long, 3,700 metres wide and rises 614 meters above sea level. It takes about 90 minutes to get to the top. You can take a rest at Nam Can, a small palace in the shade of rocks and trees. The path to the top consists of stone stairway winding up the mountain wall. Some families farm on the mountain and they grow mangoes, jackfruit, durians, bananas, papayas, pineapples, but also vegetables such as beans and pumpkins
