Ho Chi Minh Museum

The Ho Chi Minh Museum was put into construction in Gia Lai-Kon Tum on September 2nd, 1982 and inaugurated on the 94th birthday anniversary of the President, May 19th, 1984 according to the aspirations of the Tay Nguyen people of different ethnic groups in general and of the Gia Lai an Kon Tum people in particular.

The Museum still keeps the name after the Gia Lai-Kon Tum Province becomes two Provinces: Gia Lai and Kon Tum because of the expectation of the people not to separate the Ho Chi Minh Museum. Located in a nice compound at the Hoa Lu intersection, Pleiku town, Gia Lai province, a unique structure imbued with Tay Nguyen architectural peculiarities perfectly in harmony with the surroundings.

The Museum displays an outline of Ho Chi Minh’s life and work, his great concern for Tay Nguyen, the deep feeling of the local population to Ho Chi Minh and their determination to follow his path.
