Cemetery of Revolutionary Heroes
Located just across the main road from the Dien Bien Phu Historic Victory Exhibition Centre, Provincial Museum Exhibition Centre and adjacent to Hill A1, the Revolutionary Heroes’ Cemetary contains the graves of some 15, 000 Vietnamese soldiers killed during the course of the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
The outside wall of the complex is decorated with a striking gold-painted frieze depicting scenes from the war.
