Vietnam - Thailand Tour

A full day city tour of Hanoi includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his House on Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, the Temple of Literature and the Vietnam Ethnology Museum. After lunch, you will continue to visit Opera House, Cathedral, Ngoc Son Temple and take a cyclo for an hour to visit Old quarter streets followed by the Water Puppet Show. Overnight in Hanoi.

Morning depart to Halong Bay, sip on a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before  beginning cruise through the bay. Lunch served as cruising among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi – Fighting Cock islet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit Sung Sot cave, one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. Swim at Soi Sim beach or Titov beach or a short trek to the top of Titov mountain for a magnificent panorama scenery. Enjoy dinner with fresh seafood on board. Relax or chatting with partner, friends, family. Overnight on boat.

For early risers complimentary tea, coffee, fruit and cake are served. Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat paddle by out crew staff and enjoy the quiet atmosphere enclosed by high islets and mountains. Be back to our Huong Hai Junk. Sail past rock formations such as Man’s Head islet, Tortoise islet, Butterfly cave, Lion islet, Bai Tho mountain, enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on the way back to Ha Long city, etc.  Check out on boat at around 10.00 am. Enjoy lunch as boat weaves through strange-shaped limestone rock formations. Arrive back at Ha Long city around noon time for disembarkation, return to Hanoi for your overnight stay.

Morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival , you will take on a highlighted tour of Saigon including Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, Formal Presidential Palace, Museum of War Remnants and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Saigon.

After breakfast, depart to Cao Dai Temples in Tay Ninh – Cao Dai Holysee Temple is the cathedral of the Cao Daism religion with the Divine Eye - official symbol of Caodaism. After  lunch, you will visit Cu Chi Tunnels consisting of more than 200km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam War. Return to HCMC in late afternoon for your overnight stay.

Morning depart to My Tho - Mekong Delta. On arrival, take a cruise along one of the nine main tributaries of the Mekong River before arriving at Ben Tre where you will visit a handicraft workshop creating products made from coconut trees. From here switch to horse-drawn cart to visit local houses where you can enjoy tea and a variety of tropical fruits grown in their garden before floating on a sampan (typical delta boat) through the narrow, tree-lined canals of the Mekong Delta. The boat takes you to the main land.  If time permits, stop at the Vinh Trang Pagoda on the way back to HCMC. Overnight in HCMC.

Morning flight to Bangkok. On arrival, you will visit a series of temples such as Golden Buddha, Wat Arun, Wat Po, Wat Chetuphon, Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha. Tonight, you will take a boat cruise along Chophaya and enjoy your dinner with live music on the boat. Overnight in Bangkok.

Transfer to Kanchanaburi. The trip visits to War Museum (World War II); an open air museum constructed in the form of actual prisoners of war (POW) camp, there are collection of photographs, pictures, articles, pistols, knives and other items from the construction of the “Death Railway”.

Lunch will be served at local restaurant. After lunch, visit to Sai Yok Noi Waterfall  and then continue to visit the Tiger Temple; wild animal rescue foundation surrounding monasteries are many mountain rangers and natural forest. This is what attracts wildlife in the area to the monastery grounds, in 1995 the first animal to become a resident in the monastery was brought to be cared for by the monks, the fowl (local bird species) was the first of many abandoned animal to be taken in by the residents of the monastery and the tiger came later from one and one, and now tiger is the symbol of this temple. Return to Bangkok for your overnight stay.

06.30 AM             Pick you up at the hotel

07.30 AM             Vist Bang Pa In  Summer Place and then Go to Ayutthaya (Ancient City)

08.30 AM             Visit Wat Phu Khao Thong, the temple is located outside the city of Ayutthaya

09.30 AM             Arrive at Ayutthaya visit the ancient palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. Visit Viharn Phra  Mongkol Bopit one of the largest bronze Buddha’s in Thailand.

12.00 PM             Thai buffet Lunch.

13.00 PM             Visit Wat Lokaya Sutha, the temple is adjacent to Wat Worachettharam in the west to the city. It houses a large reclining Buddha image, made of brick and covered with plaster.

14.30 PM             Visit Wat Phra Mahathat, the temple is located in front of the grand palace. The construction was begun during the reign of King Borom Rachathirat I in 1374 A.D.

15.00 PM             Back to Bangkok. Rest of the day is free at your own pace.

Free at lesiure till transferring to airport for flight back to BKK then take a connecting flight home. End of services.
