Ba Be Lake Tour
Ba Be is the most beautiful lake in the northern Vietnam. A 2 day private and small group tour to Ba Be features the rivers, waterfalls and mountain ranges of northern Vietnam.
From the flatlands of the Red River Delta, travel to Ba Be National Park to see lakes and caves set amid towering limestone karsts. Swim in the lake’s tranquil waters and sleep in the traditional stilt homes of the Tay ethnic minority group.
- Day 1: Hanoi - Ba Be Lake (L, D)
Our guide and driver will come to meet you at your hotel in Hanoi around 6:00am and head North toward Ba Be Lake. After a 2 hour drive, you will stop at Lu market to have coffee-break, then start to enter the mountainous region where beautiful dramatic natural landscape alternates with ethnic villages located at the foot of the mountains. The drive will be slow-paced and peaceful, there will be opportunities to take photos during the trip and enjoy the spectacular views... On arrival, you will enjoy staying at a well-established homestay in Pac Ngoi with the Tay people. Lunch and then stroll around the village before sunset. Overnight in homestay in Tay Village.
Tay Village Homestay
- Day 2: Ba Be Lake - Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, we will take a boat cruise on Ba Be Lake & Nang River. Our boat will anchor for a short visit to Dau Dang waterfall and then cruise up stream for a couple of hours along the Nang River. You will go ashore for lunch in Cho Gia before heading back to Hanoi. Your tours ends at your hotel round 6:00pm.
