Ba Be Lake - Ban Gioc Waterfall

Ba Be Lake in Ba Be National Park is an incredibly beautiful area boasting waterfalls, rivers, deep valleys, lakes and caves set amid towering peaks. The area is inhabited by members of the Zao, H’mong and Tay minorities.
Ban Gioc Waterfall is a 30 meter waterfall falls and separated into three falls by rocks and trees, and the thundering effect of the water hitting the cliffs can be heard kilometers away from Trung Khanh.
- Day 1: Hanoi – Ba be lake (B, L)
Our guide and driver will come to meet you at your hotel in Hanoi around 6:00am and head North toward Ba Be Lake. It takes a 7 hour drive. Traveling through the flatlands of the Red River Delta and up into the mountain areas north of Hanoi. Lunch on road, you will arrive Ba Be town by mid afternoon and then stroll around the village before sunset. Overnight in homestay in Tay Village.

- Day 2: Babe Lake (B, L)
After breakfast, you will take a private boat for a cruise on the Ba Be lake or have a swim in crystal clear waters if weather permits before having lunch near the Dau Dang Waterfalll. A visit to this small hamlet will enable you to witness how little the lives of the people in these remote areas have changed. Cruise back to the Pac Ngoi village for your overnight stay.
- Day 3: Ba Be Lake - Cao Bang (B, L )
Morning drive to the provincial town of Cao Bang. Arrive in town around mid morning, wandering around the town and have lunch. Transfer to Chinese border to visit Pac Bo Cave, Ho Chi Minh's hideout upon his return to Vietnam after 30 years of self-imposed exile. There you will have a 3 hour trek to a village inhabited by the Nung minority people. Late this afternoon you take a drive back to Cao Bang for your overnight stay .

- Day 4: Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Hanoi (B, L )
The tour highlight today is Ban Gioc waterfall, the largest one in Vietnam. It forms a natural border between Vietnam and China with its three-tiers of water and it resembles a giant white staircase. While being here you can swim and enjoy a picnic lunch near the waterfall. Return to Hanoi and tour ends at your hotel around 7:00pm.
