Nam Ou Riverside Resort

Nam Ou Riverside Hotel and Resort sits on the bank of Nam Ou River with an area of 5.5 hectares in Vang Lae Village, Pak Ou District, Luang Prabang Province, situated at 35 Km from Luang Prabang downtown.

It overlooks the Nam Ou River and surrounding mountains, boasting a serene location, one of the most beautiful places to relax in Luang Prabang. It is a place for travelers who need to discover Luang Prabang authenticity not far away from town in tranquil luxury.

Building started in 2009 and had we had our soft opening in December 2011. The Resort now has 7 Bungalows with Lao architectural design all with Nam Ou River views featuring 1 Standard, 2 Superior, 2 Deluxe, 1 Suite and 3 Grand Suite rooms. The newly completed hotel wing building features 6 Standard Garden View Rooms and 6 Superior Mountain View Rooms.

All the 21 rooms have private bathroom with hot and cold water, private balcony, air conditioning, minibar, and safety box. All rooms and public areas offer free Wi-fi.

From 1st October 2014, to help our Guests saving costs for transfer between the Resort and Luang Prabang downtown, we organize 2 free daily shuttle bus with departure from the Resort to town at 10.00AM and 5.00PM respectively and from town back to the Resort at 3.00PM and 9.00 PM respectively. The subject may be changed without notice. However, if guests need to travel privately, we will be happy organize private minivan transfers or rental for half day and full days at competitive rates.

The Resort also provides deliciously healthy food at the Nam Ou River View Restaurant which sits adjacent to our Gorgeous Infinity Nam Ou River View Swimming Pool, a perfect place to chill and cool down.

Apart from accommodation, food and beverage, the Resort provides other services such as Elephant feeding, riding and bathing, airport transfers, excursions by long tail boat on the Nam Ou River to visit local villages and Pak Ou Caves, Kayaking, Cycling, Trekking, Traditional Baci Ceremony and local fishing lessons on the Nam Ou River.
